Doha: Al Rayyan beat Al Kharaitiyat 2-0 on Saturday in to enter the final of the QSL Cup.
Sebastian Soria (16th) and Daniel Goumou (72nd) scored for Al Rayyan at the Al Shamal Stadium.
In the final on Tuesday, they will take on Al Gharafa, who beat Umm Salal 1-0 in the first semifinal earlier in the day.
After a few attacks that did not materialise, Michael Laudrup’s boys opened the scoring through striker Soria, who deflected the ball into the net from close after Mohammed Juma Al Alawi slipped in a perfect curling cross after racing through the right flank.
Substitute Goumou doubled the lead with a tap-in from close following a goalmouth melee.
In the other match, Al Gharafa managed to seal the game late in the 80th minute, thanks to Monqeth Mohamed’s 80th-minute strike.
