NEWLY-CROWNED Emir’s Cup champions Al Sadd made their intentions clear ahead of the new season by signing Qatar international Boualem Khoukhi from Al Arabi last Monday.
The 26-year-old utility player, who was born in Algeria, signed a two-year deal in the presence of General Manager Turki Al Ali and
Football Head Mohammed Ghanem Al A’ali.
“It’s an honour to join Sadd. I hope I can repay the trust the club management has in me,” said Khoukhi.
Meanwhile, Sadd announced last season’s leading scorer Baghdad Bounedjah had extended his contract until 2021. DSP
