QATAR Cup champions Al Arabi will represent the country at the Asian Clubs Championship, to be held in Vietnam from June 28 to July 6.
Arabi are drawn into Group C of the tournament, which also features clubs from Kazakhstan, Hong Kong and Australia.
The only Qatari club to have won the Asian title, a feat which they accomplished in 2012 in Shanghai, Arabi had also reached the finals last year where they lost to Iran’s Sarmayeh Bank Tehran.
Under French coach Patrick Duflot, Arabi won three domestic titles this season — Association Cup, Super Cup and Qatar Cup — and will be eyeing more glory.
The tournament will be held in the Nam D?nh and Ninh Binh provinces.
