ADELEGATION from the Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) turned up at Ehsan, a centre for empowerment and elderly care, for Iftar last week, as part of a series of scheduled visits to social institutions during the holy month of Ramadan.
The visit underlined the foundation’s commitment to engage local community by reaching out to social institutions.
AZF PR and Communication Director Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri said, “The Iftar is a special time for families in Ramadan and we’ve come together to share this special time with the elderly, as one family. We hope they’ve enjoyed our company as much as we’ve enjoyed theirs.”
The elderly expressed their delight with the visit.
Ehsan CEO Mubarak bin Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa said, “We would like to thank the AZF for its kind gesture. We encourage all organisations and community members in Qatar to follow suit and visit Ehsan to engage with the elderly, who deserve our outmost respect.” dsp
