Doha, Qatar: Fifty One East, Qatar’s favourite department store, underscored its commitment to golf by signing a partnership agreement with the newest world-class golfing facility in Qatar; Education City Golf Club.
Fifty One East will be a highlight of Education City Golf Club’s monthly tournament calendar for golfers in Qatar, as winners will receive exclusive prizes each month from Fifty One East’s range of exclusive brands. The tournament calendar will feature monthly medals, women’s open days and junior open days. The members’ monthly medal will feature an exciting and unique eclectic series that will showcase the top golfer of the year as each participant will aim to win the final tournament of the year by consistently playing in each event.
In line with the vision of Education City Golf Club to grow the game of golf, a number of the events will have a concentrated focus on women and children. The overall partnership will support the development of golf in Qatar by encouraging new golfers to have an active and healthy lifestyle.
The first event of the partnership was the National Sport Day Stableford, which saw 100 golfers participating in the tournament. Also, golfers participated on the 18 Hole Championship Course along with the unique- 6 Hole Championship course in a walking event that encourages them to stay fit on the long run.

Fifty One East will facilitate the installation of Rolex wall clocks in carefully selected locations around the golfing facility including the Centre of Excellence and Clubhouse. In addition, the Entertainment Division under Fifty One East including JouéClub and alongside FNAC Qatar, will offer support to key events via a set of activations, product displays, giveaways and many more activities.
