ICC U19 World Cup: Oman, Kuwait to feature in qualifiers

DUBAI: Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore and the UAE will compete in the Asia Qualifier in Malaysia for a place in the 2020 ICC U19 World Cup in South Africa.

The event will feature 15 matches that will be played across three venues in Kuala Lumpar - Kinrara Oval, Bayuemas Oval and Selangor Turf Club between April 12 and 18.

The winners will become the 13th team to join the 11 ICC Full Members and Nigeria for the main tournament next January and February.

This is the second stage for teams in Asia, who due to the depth of strength in the region, competed in a Division 2 in 2018, where Kuwait and Oman qualified to continue their U19 journey.
