Lebanon captain Karim Jammal gave full credit to Qatar while adding his team’s lack of confidence and discipline cost them the title.
“We made several mistakes,” said Karim. “We also had three yellow cards in the end which proved to be a big factor. It was probably our lack of discipline that cost us the match.” Karim also praised Qatar’s performance.
“They had good set plays and in the line outs, their catch and drive were impeccable. They peeled off easily and kept moving. They made us work harder as they spread us out,” he added.
