Park, Yuryevna in spotlight at Epee Grand Prix

SOUTH Korea’s Park Sang-Young, who won individual gold at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and team silver medal at 2014 World Championships, will be one of the star attractions at the Fencing Grand Prix (Epee) for Men and Women, to be held at the Aspire Logistics Hall on Friday and Saturday.

In the women’s category, all eyes will be on Russia’s Tatiana Yuryevna Logunova, who is a two-time Olympic champion.

The men’s and women’s categories have attracted 178 and 139 fencers respectively, with the event offering a total prize money of $43,000.

Qatar will field a 16-member team, including five women.
