THE 20th Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be held at the Doha Golf Club from January 26 to 29.
Featuring some of the world’s best players, the highly-anticipated tournament is organised by the Qatar Golf Association (QGA) in association with Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
South Africa’s rising star Branden Grace is the two-time defending champion of the European Tour event, where the likes of Ryder Cup players Sergio Garcia, Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson have all competed for the $2.5m prize money in the past years.
Sitting at the heart of the European Tour’s Middle East ‘desert swing’, which also features tournaments in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Qatar Masters has brought together the world’s best talents over the years.
“We’re delighted to be welcome the cream of golf back to Doha for our tournament’s 20th edition,” said QGA President Hassan Al Nuaimi.
