Doha, Qatar: Qatar Olympic Academy honoured its latest batch of students who secured a Sports Management Diploma recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
The students were awarded the certificates by Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary General Jassim Al Buainain at a function at the academy on Wednesday.
A total of 23 students successfully completed the course in the sixth batch.
“The Diploma has seven modules with each having different topics such as planning in sports, the human resource aspect of sports and the students have to do the paper on them. We then sent it to the International Olympic Committee, and they will have to okay it for the successful completion of the course,” said Qatar Olympic Academy Executive Director Mohammed Saif Al Nuaimi.
