Hong, Kong: Qatar's Fahad Al Abdulla claimed the bronze medal in the 400m hurdles at third Asian Youth Atheltics Championship in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Al Abdulla clocked 55.28 to finish behind champion Mark Bryan (55.09) of Singapore and Henry Feong of Hong Kong, who took silver in 55.26.
Qatar's youth athletics delegation to the prestigious event, represented by 14 athletes, was headed by Mohammed Essa Al Fadalah, the Assistant Secretary general of Qatar Athletics Federation.
Meanwhile, China finished at the top of the medals tally with 12 gold, 11 silver and eight bronze while India were second with eight gold, nine silver and as many bronze medals. Japan were third with six gold, eight silver and six bronze.
