Doha, Qatar: Real Madrid thrashed Etoile du Sahel in the play of match for fifth to eighth positions of the Al Kass International Cup U-17 football tournament at the Aspire Grounds on Tuesday.
Real, who lost 2-0 to Kashiwa Reysol in the quarterfinal, took the lead against the Tunisian side through Raúl Cerqueda in the 19th minute.
Fernando Rufo made it 2-0 in the 44th while Andri Gudjohnsen added the third in the 63rd to ensure all three points for the Spanish side.
In the second match, Spartak Moscow defeated Turkey’s Altinordu FK 2-1.
Enis Destan put Altinordu ahead in the 12th minute but a red card for Eren Akgüney put the Turks in deep trouble and the Russians scored twice in the second half through Ilya Golyatov.
Real Madrid will play Spartak Moscow for fifth and sixth positions while Etoile du Sahel take on Altinordu in the seventh-place match.
