DOHA: The Losail Circuit Sports Club (LCSC), Qatar Sports for All Federation and Qatar Cyclists have together announced training days for ladies only at the Losail International Circuit from December 13.
The Losail track will now be open exclusively for ladies on selected Tuesdays of every month.
The joint initiative shows LCSC’s commitment to focus on hosting physical activities that aims to maximise the full potential of the facilities. The goal is to provide the community with a safe and comfortable environment to exercise in.
“We’ve been able to use the facility the most we can, but still we can do more work in community engagement and use it to its full potential. I’m happy to launch this new event with Qatar Sports for All Federation and Qatar Cyclists. We’re here to provide all we can from the circuit to cyclists in the community,” said LCSC President Saud Al Attiyah, while addressing a Press conference at Losail last week.
Qatar Sports for All Federation President Abdulrahman Al Dosari shared his views.
“We launched a women’s community sport activity that is taking place in four different schools on a weekly basis. Now, we’re launching the Ladies Training Days as part of our continuous effort to make our community live a healthier life,” said Al Dosari.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari of Qatar Cyclists and Haya Al Ghanim of Oola Sports also addressed the Press conference. -- Press Release
